Haiku Monday - Nocturnal

Boy on Winter Break.
Midnight XBox cussing blitz.
Pitch-black stair creeping.

This week's Haiku Monday is being hosted and judged by Scout over at Preserving The South.  So many rules - and she makes them.

Sorry i'm late. I had this ready 2 days ago but apparently forgot to auto-publish.

oooh, I sooo understand. My 17 year nephew often goes to bed when the sun is rising. I wish I had their energy levels. I'd just do something different with it.

Happy Haiku Monday!

Awesome haiku. Captures the addiction perfectly. I once had a thing for Tetris, but I'm not sure that's anywhere in the same league.

The Boy comes to bed around 2 or 3 and doesn't wake up until 1PM. There's no energy to do any chores. And I've trapped 2 mice down in the basement because of all the food he says he doesn't eat down there.

Me haikuing is not a reason to cheer.

The Boy plays Call of Duty with dozens of people in one game. How he can comunicate through the headsets is beyond me. All I hear are british accents and profanity.
