How did this one get in here?

Hey you put a picture of Troll in there! GREAT picks. Are you a movie buff? Breakfast Club and Fast Times are true classics and are on my list of movies I can watch anytime they are on cable... no matter if I find the movie on 1/2 way through. I'll watch the rest.

Holy Grail is another brilliant pick. I could fill your comment box with quotes from that movie and don't even get me started on Rocky Horror Picture Show, I'm old enough to remember throwing toast.

Happy MM! Another great job.

A lot of those pics were unmistakeable to me. I knew the flicks even where I hadn't seen them. Great choice.

Happy Mute Monday!

No movie ramps up the squick factor quite like Eraserhead – Lynch's first and, in my opinion, weirdest. Great MM!

I love most of these. I have a game in email that shows a lot of these classic movies, but all the heads are missing. you have to guess the movie from the scene. It's pretty fun, and I'd bet you'd enjoy it.

I was looking for Troll Points with the addition of the The Troll to the list. It has no cult following. I also remember water pistols, rice and lighters (they actually let us bring in lighters).

Troll

Same here. There's probably 2 or 3 in here that I have never seen.

Moi

Eraserhead is one of the movies I haven't seen. But I have seen Lynch's Blue Velvet and that was way out there. Interesting that he has 2 movies on my list and I don't think Dennis Hopper was acting either.

Kym

I'm a gamester but I doubt I would have the time. This minimal blog is as far as I go.

Pam

Billy Jack could kick ass though, couldn't he?

Diva

That is the best scene in the whole movie. The subway picture is from The Warriors. This was the the first movie I ever rented (on VHS). I still put beer bottles on my fingers and clang them together.

K9

I have a T-shirt that says, "It's only a flesh wound". My kids don't get it.

Vixen

Thanks for coming by.

All

I had a little help from Wikipedia in coming up with my list. About half are ones I came up with. It's a very fine line between classic and cult classic. Generally, the movie has to be panned by critics, bomb in the box office and then have a small group of people start watching and promoting it over a long period of time. They're also usually edgy (Pink Flamingos) or so bad they're good (Road House). Thanks for the great comments.

Buzz,
You are always entertaining but really, would it have spoiled your classic roster to have included at least one girl movie? Nice job...I am up at the Pond.
