Visual Haiku - Music To My Ears

Born on Iron Horse.

To the V-twin thunder roar

Be wild summer knights.

Buzz,
check the count on the first line!

According to Merriam-Websters, iron is 1 sylable. But I did some more searching and some other sylable counter softwares and dictionaries list it as 2, so I have begrudgingly adjusted my haiku accordingly.

Good morning Buzz Kill,

Don't you hate it when that happens. Not wanting to add insult to injury, but Brando was riding a Triumph an inline 2 cylinder.

So was there some dark secret in your past, you care to tell us about? Lets see South Jersey. The Pagans, the Renegades, the Outlaws or Bandannas. Come on buzz which one was it?

Quite an awesome American success story.
Do you still ride iron horses?

Yeah, I new about the Triump, I was going for hte movie title - The Wild One. I use to ride but not with a "club". Pagans and Warlocks were the big area clubs back then.

Fishy
That was something I had to give up when I got married. I still have the bike in the corner of the garage. The Boy was asking to get it out and fix it up. I told him to talk to his mom.

Chicky
Isn't that one of the best movie lines ever?

Moi
I've never riden a Triumph. I have a 750LTD Kawasaki but would love to get a Harley. Someday - after the Mrs' tragic accident. Bwahahaha

Boxer
Finally, someone got it! Unless everyone else just wasn't saying. I can't tell you how many times I went riding with that tune going on in my head.

See Chickory,
Boxer's comments always resonate with the authors!

Fun HM, BuzzK!

I can totally ( like. ya know. totally see this)

Oh, but now, I done give ya a place to tell dark secrets on the porch--notice none of y'all has left me no sins from yore hidden lives.

As fer syllable count, it all depends on iffin' youse Southern. In the South, both iron an' South is two syllables.

I like this entry.

I've got no dark secrets to confess. I've pretty much laid it all out on this blog at one time or another. I never mentioned my motorcycle because it's never come up before. This theme inspired me to come up with a favorite song and this one hit me - LIKE A LIGHTNING BOLT.
