Giving comfort and
defending those who harm her -
Freedom costs a lot.

Those old pix of the dude trying to burn the flag and catching himself on fire in the process are HILARIOUS !

Buzz,

Edearing haiku as opposed to the visual. I feel our commitment to freedom is being tested. I hope we do not lose, no matter the costs.

I think you and I are on the same Haiku subject calendar.

Karma - it's a bitch.

It was not my intention that the pictures I offer offend (except the Palin one - Bwahahahaha), but to make a point. Our commitment to freedom is always being tested. That's what makes this country so great. I would just as soon burn my own arm as the flag, but freedom means I'll defend your right to burn the flag if you feel so inclined. Do this in any other country (especially muslim ones) and you disappear or get shot. It's what sets us apart and it's what I think about when I say the Pledge of Allegiance.

Pam had me all screwed up on the Haiku schedule. I saw yours and June 14th was Flag Day so it made sense - to 2 of us.

Karma IS a bitch, isn't it? Know what happens when you play with fire? Yeah, exactly.

Happy Father's Day Buzz! I hope you're over celebrated this weekend.

Good comment and attitude, Buzzy, La Diva concurs! Here is a recipe idea for your radishes (and tops!) I made this for the Food and Garden festival and everyone loved it. You might even get the family to eat it!
