Barbecue and summer nights are a perfect match!
Blowfish has a new gas grill and so far, just about everything has been inedible. Probably my inspiration :-) Yes our hammock is in use, it's been up since mid April. I do love to swing under the stars watching the fireflies and smelling the moonflowers.
This year, I have been pining to take the summer off but a week or two will be all I can manage.
Hope your great collection of ilustrations doesn't actually represent your grillmaster status.

July Culinary Smackdown theme has been posted on my blog. Hope you'll join in the fun! Just exercise caution in case you try to use that grill :)

I love the lawnmower picture. Reminds me of my childhood. And summer is so much good bbq and baseball. Mr.Boxer would agree.

I'd like to know what they were cooking that threw 15 foot flames in the air.

Dani
Yeah, I just discovered you can change the layout. Who knew?

I broke down and bought a Weber grill 3 years ago. I was reluctant to pay the $500 but I'll tell you what - it was worth it. It's like a professional golfer with a matched set of clubs, you can't help play/cook better.

Moi
I take it you've never seen the lighter fluid blow back video?

IE
I always keep the Mrs' watering can near by.

What doesn't mulch you into a million pieces makes you stronger.
