Early Christmas Present

You all may remember a contest that Chickory had and that I, unbelievably - WON. Here were my prize choices. Anyway, I get home last night and there on the front step was this (soon to be cherished) work of art. The Mrs immediately put it on display at the edge of the family hearth.

Thank you Chickory. I know so few artists and it is truly an honor to receive personalized artwork. Merry Christmas to you and your family from the Buzzkills.

Good morning Buzz Kill,

Welcome, your now a member of a very exclusive club, a winner of Chicory art! Although you remind me that I never posted a picture of Ski, the Polish Crusted Rooster. I'll have to rectify that.

every home should have a piece of Chickory art in it. I saw that piece in her studio and I'm a little jealous. :-) I'm glad Mrs. Buzz is happy and she found a great place for it to reside. Just make sure no one has too drinkees and tosses it in the fireplace! bwaahahahahha

The Mrs was the one that was handling it.

Maybe she'll have another contest...and I won't play. Bwahahaha

Is there a secret handshake I should know about?

No worries there as I'm the only one who knows how the fire place works. And how it's cleaned. Thanks again.

I would have put it on a shelf but I'm not the decorator.

I'm more concerned that it will be used as a coaster.

I wonder if I'm the first Jersey owner of Chickory Art - forgetaboutit.

And you should be jealous. It looks very nice.

Will any of us ever again throw away a scrap of wood? Nope! Not when there is the possibility we can ship it to Chickory for transformation services. Glad the BK family like this art, it looks close to becoming a fine chicken dinner.
